Hello, We're Bear Staffing

Posted September 20 2013

If you're not new to my blog, it's likely you already know about Bear Staffing and what we do. For our readers who are new, I wanted to share some information with you about us. Hello, nice to meet you.

First and foremost, let me tell you a little about myself — the sarcastic guy named Gary Johnson who writes for a blog called Bear Tracts. I am the Vice President, COO, and co-founder of Bear. That's me, to the left.

I have more than 20 years experience in the staffing solutions industry (I know it's hard to tell from my young and stunning appearance that I could possibly have that much work experience, haha). When I'm not blogging about staffing matters here or posting staffing related content across Bear's other social media channels, I'm getting down to the nitty gritty helping this company increase efficiency and quality through use of human capital. I own this business with my wife Sherri Johnson.

Sherri Johnson is Bear's President and CEO. She's also a co-founder with me. Sherri focuses more on operational roles including recruiting and retention strategies and career development and training. We started this company back in 2005 with just the two of us in Woodbury, New Jersey. Since, we've grown it 280 employees. We now have offices in Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
