We have a wonderful team of employees at Bear Staffing. I'm happy to introduce you to Mandi Heims, our Accounting Manager. She has been with us since October 2013. When we found Mandi, her work as a government contractor had just run out. The connection we had with Mandi was serendipitous. Instantly, we felt Mandi's varied skills and experience would be a good fit for Bear, as they are.

Mandi has a background in Accounting, IT, Database and Operations Management. We keep her quite busy! Along with her accounting responsibilities, she assists in government security clearance, IT updates and support, and miscellaneous operations functions.

On the more personal side, Mandi was born in Philadelphia and lived in there until she was fourteen. Following, she moved to New Jersey and has lived in the Garden State since, minus the time she spent in the United States Army. She currently resides in Woodbury where she enjoys gardening, kayaking, reading, and taking care of her house. While she does not have any children of her own, she's a proud mom to her foster daughter and dog, Obie. “Hopefully I'll get another dog soon” she said. “I love animals, especially dogs.”

Some fun facts about Mandi:

• She's obsessed with the TV show The Big Bang Theory.
• For seven years, she served as a Generator Mechanic in the U.S. Army.
• She loves to write.
