FLORIDA, September 30, 2018: Ranking third this past year in overall job creation and with an unemployment rate at a 12-year-low mark of 3.7%, Florida's total economic output is predicted to more than quadruple from $1 trillion to just over $4 trillion over the next 30 years according to a report released by the Institute for Economic Competitiveness at the University of Central Florida. This forecasted expansion is based in part the continued growth of Florida's population, which is bolstered not just, by retirees but also by workers looking for opportunity.
